Inner Healing and Deliverance Ministry

The word deliverance means - "the action of being rescued or set free",
"prayers for deliverance" or “casting out demons”. According to the Oxford Dictionary, Jehovah Mephalti means, “The Lord my deliverer.”

Demons are our enemies, God delivers His people from their enemies.
'I delivered you from the hands of the Egyptians and from the hands of all your oppressors, and dispossessed them before you and gave you their land,' Judges 6:9
Matt. 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”.

As recorded in the Gospel according to Matthew, there are over 48 bible verses in the New Testament that specifically mention casting out demons.

As Christians, Jesus has given us the authority in His name to do this according to Mark 16:17-18. “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands;
and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Deliverance is for every believer

The healing and deliverance process is a part of every believer's sanctification journey as much as salvation is. In Philippians, it explains that God is at work “in you.” Salvation needs to be “worked out.” The word for “salvation” in this passage is soteria. Thayer’s Lexicon gives us the primary meaning of this word “deliverance from the molestation of enemies.” “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13 In the complete Jewish Bible it reads like this; So, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important that you obey now when I am away from you: keep working out your deliverance with fear and trembling, for God is the one working among you both the willing and the working for what pleases him.

Ephesians tells us who our enemy is. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Jesus has given us his authority to overcome the enemy.
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” Luke 10:19

Healing is a part of deliverance

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives. And recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;” Luke 4:18.

Life can bring pain and trauma. Sometimes we are never the same after going through a
painful experience. Our souls can be shattered and wounded and our hearts can be broken. There is a relationship between trauma/soul wounds and demons. The trauma or abuse can be an entry point for demons. When someone says they suffer from anxiety, fear, guilt, anger, or any other emotion, there is a strong possibility that they have deep soul wounds that are being tormented by demons. The demons won’t leave until the wounds are completely healed. Jesus is the one who heals those wounds.

That's what the Bible is speaking of in these verses;
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

“He personally bore our sins in his body on the stake, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness — by his wounds you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

“The word used here for healed is iaomai (ee-ah-om-ahee) which means to heal, make whole.” It's the same word used in Luke 4:18 which says that Jesus heals the brokenhearted.
